Missing Link's Managed DNS Service consists of feature rich interface & full set of advanced features that makes DNS management an easy task while providing you centralised management & reliability of dispersed network of name servers.

Geographically Distributed DNS Servers
Missing Links Managed DNS infrastructure comprises of a network of DNS servers located at different geographic locations around the world. DNS servers on the network are replicated in real-time. Should one server fail, DNS requests automatically route to the closest server in our network.

Web-Based Control Panel
We provide an easy-to-use Web interface to manage your DNS Zones. With template based management, you can create & manage your DNS Zones quickly without any prior knowledge of DNS or server management.

Branded Name Servers
We provide you with your branded Name Servers. Your customers will see your domain name (ns/ns2.yourdomain.com) instead of ours keeping us anonymous.
 

Scalable Architecture
You can simply use our Web interface to add DNS zones which are immediately reflected across DNS Servers on our network. Our Managed DNS service can be expanded quickly & easily simply by adding servers to our existing network or by adding additional locations in strategic geographic locations.
 

Control Over A, MX, CNAME records
From Web interface you can Add, modify or delete A records, MX records, CNAME records & publish changes to the web in a matter of minutes. You can also setup Round robin A records, Multiple MX records for multiple mail servers & priority delivery at the DNS level.
 

Zone Templates
Our managed DNS allows you to create and store Zone Templates which can be used for any future additions. Simply select template, enter zone names you wish to add, and your Zone will get added automatically saving you precious time.
 

Real time DNS Updates
Any additional or modification to DNS Zone is instantly updated across all our DNS Servers without requiring any DNS restarts. Your changes will get propagated thought our DNS servers almost instantly.

Round Robin Load Balancing

Round Robin Load Balancing is one of the most effective, simple and cheaper option to implement Load balancing for your websites. If you have your website hosted on multiple servers (mirrored), with round-robin, visits to your website will be distributed equally among your servers. Considering scenario of round robin for 3 servers, first visitor will view your website from first server, second will view from second server, third will view from third server, while fourth visitor will view from first server and so on.

Multi-Level User & Reseller Management
Missing Links' Managed DNS has integrated multi-level User & Reseller architecture. You can easily sell Managed DNS packages to your customers allowing them complete management through your custom branded web interface.
 

Optional Backup Mail Service
Along with Managed DNS, we also provide Backup Mail Service. In the event that your mail server un unreachable our backup server will queue up your emails for up to 5 days and deliver it to your server when it is available.
 

Optional Catch-all Email Forwarding
If you do not have a mail server to handle emails for your domain, you can set up a catch-all email forwarding for your domain. This will redirect all email sent to your domain name to destination email address you specify. Each domain you have on our system can be configured with a different catch-all destination address.
